Sea Pro Boats Launches New 292DLX Offshore

New Deep-Vee Center Console is Designed and Built for Demanding Offshore Anglers, Boasts Array of Fishing Features and Latest Technology

October 25, 2023— There is a big difference between a “capable fishing boat” and one that has offshore fishing in its DNA and blue water running through its veins.  Sea Pro Boats of Whitmire, South Carolina knows this, which is why its new 292DLX Offshore was bred and built for the most demanding saltwater anglers coast to coast.

This new-for-2024 Deep-Vee Center Console model debuted today at the 2023 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, exhibiting the quality construction, attention to detail, standard features, and advanced technology that Sea Pro’s reputation is built on.

This purpose-built offshore machine gives anglers the confidence to pursue bluewater gamefish anywhere they swim.  With its sharp bow entry, classic Carolina flare and 22.5-degree transom deadrise, the 292DLX chops through the rough stuff and delivers a dry, solid ride in all types of conditions.  Combined with its broad 9’ 10” beam and spacious cockpit design, this boat feels and fishes much bigger than its 28’ 6” LOA, yet it is still easy to trailer and operate.

The 292DLX’s long list of standard fishing features includes a large side entry door, large port and starboard fish boxes with macerator pumps, two pressurized 25-gallon livewells, underwater lights, an outrigger-ready fiberglass hardtop with integrated windshield, two heavy-duty electric reel ports, built-in tackle storage, built in cleaning and bait station, and of course, rod storage galore.

Sea Pro knows that fishermen need comfort, too, so you’ll find a fiberglass leaning post with premium captain’s chairs, a deluxe folding rear bench seat, and forward seating with backrests.  Additional comfort and convenience features include a console dry box with two USB ports, rainfall freshwater shower, full pump-out macerator head with overboard discharge, freshwater sink in the head, raw and freshwater washdown, and fully adjustable RGBW cockpit lighting.

The new 292DLX is also packed with today’s most advanced fishing and boating technology, including automatic trim for pitch and roll, a 16” touchscreen Simrad MFD, an Audison Marine Audio sound system, digital switching, smart battery management, and Sea Pro Connect by Boatfix vessel monitoring and security.

“We designed and built the 292DLX for offshore anglers who demand the best from their boat — the best performance, the best ride and the best features,” said Sea Pro President Jimmy Hancock.  “This boat is made to give bluewater anglers the confidence they need to run far and fish hard regardless of what Mother Nature dishes out.   Our dealers and customers don’t believe in compromise, and neither do we.  This is reflected in our new 292DLX and all of the boats we build,” Hancock added.

This new 2024 model will be available through Sea Pro’s nationwide dealer network beginning December 2023.   To learn more about the new 292DLX, or the full range of Sea Pro boat models for fishing and family fun, visit www.seapromfg.com.
