Seakeeper Ride is a Vessel Attitude Control System (VACS) that eliminates up to 70% of pitch and roll underway. It replaces traditional trim tabs with an automatic, intuitive system — for a flatter, drier, more comfortable ride from the helm.

Yes. The 245FLX is a Sea Pro Sandbar boat: a center console that shares the 242 CC’s length, beam and deadrise, finished for family days with removable bow table, stern bench seating with reversible backrests, premium rotating captains chairs and bow seating with removable backrest standard.
Pick the 242 CC if the boat is mostly for fishing, and the 245FLX if family days come first. Compare the Sandbar models.
The 242 CC is rated for up to 350 HP. Sea Pro is choose-your-power, with factory packages including the Mercury 300 XL V8, Suzuki DF 300 APX and Yamaha 300 XCB.

The 242 CC is 23'9" long with a beam of 8'10", and weighs 4,200 lbs dry, without the engine.
For towing weight, add the outboard (527–642 lbs for the factory options), about six pounds per gallon of fuel (roughly 610 lbs with 102 gallons aboard), your gear and the trailer, and stay comfortably under your vehicle’s towing rating.
At 8'10" wide, it is over the standard 8'6" legal trailer width, so some states require an oversize permit to tow it. On the trailer, the hard top stands 134.5" (11'2.5") high, so measure your garage door before planning on indoor storage.
The 242 CC has a published draft of 16". That is static draft: how deep the hull sits at rest. The water you can run and get on plane in depends on load, trim, motor height and setup.
18.5° at the transom. Deadrise is the angle of the hull bottom: the more of it, the softer the ride in a head sea; the less, the shallower the boat floats and the steadier it sits at rest.

The 242 CC has a passenger capacity of 11. Count everyone aboard, children included, and remember that the outboard, fuel and gear all add to the load.

Range depends on the engine, speed, load and sea state; the engine makers’ performance bulletins under Choose Your Power list speed and fuel burn through the rpm range. Plan by the rule of thirds: a third of your fuel out, a third back, and a third in reserve.

A 10-year limited hull warranty covering structural defects in the fiberglass hull, which can transfer to a later owner after a re-certification inspection, plus a 5-year limited warranty on the boat: parts and labor in year one, parts in years two through five.
