Foam Filled
Hull sides and deck boxes are foam-filled and sprayed with a vinyl-ester barrier coat — quieter underway, better insulated, safer.
250 Tunnel
Same boat, same power, same standard features as the 250 Bay. The 250 Tunnel adds a tunnel molded into the hull, so the motor rides higher and the boat runs shallower.
Runs shallower, floats the same. The tunnel works underway. At rest, the 250 Tunnel draws the same 15" as the 250 Bay.
12" hydraulic jack plate, standard. Raise the motor for the flats; lower it for rough water, hard turns and backing down.

Choose Your Power
Boater-first means you pick the brand — the 250 runs up to 350 HP.
250 Tunnel or 250R Tunnel
Same hull, same power, same standard features. Add Seakeeper Ride to the 250 Tunnel and it becomes the 250R Tunnel. That’s the whole difference.

Seakeeper Ride is a Vessel Attitude Control System (VACS) that eliminates up to 70% of pitch and roll underway. It replaces traditional trim tabs with an automatic, intuitive system — for a flatter, drier, more comfortable ride from the helm.

Questions & Answers
Price, power, towing, draft and more, straight from the 250’s spec sheet.
The Sea Pro 250 Tunnel starts at $99,896. The boat as shown, with options, has an MSRP of $122,949.
The final price depends on the outboard you choose and the options you add, and may not include taxes, freight, a trailer or dealer charges. Build-A-Boat prices your exact boat, and your dealer gives the final quote.
One change: a tunnel molded into the hull. It lets the outboard ride higher, so the 250 Tunnel runs shallower than the 250 Bay, with the same power and the same standard features, and a 12" hydraulic jack plate comes standard.
The tunnel works underway. At rest, the 250 Tunnel draws the same 15" as the 250 Bay. See how the tunnel works.
The 250 Tunnel is rated for up to 350 HP. Sea Pro is choose-your-power, with factory packages including the Suzuki DF 300 APX, Suzuki DF 350 ATX, Yamaha 300 XCB and Mercury 350 Verado.
The engine makers’ performance bulletins for the 250 Tunnel, with speed and fuel burn, are linked under Choose Your Power.
The 250 Tunnel is 24'8" long with a beam of 8'9", and weighs 3,432 lbs dry, without the engine.
For towing weight, add the outboard (562–747 lbs for the factory options), about six pounds per gallon of fuel (roughly 420 lbs with 70 gallons aboard), your gear and the trailer, and stay comfortably under your vehicle’s towing rating.
At 8'9" wide, it is over the standard 8'6" legal trailer width, so some states require an oversize permit to tow it. On the trailer, the hard top stands 124" (10'4") high, so measure your garage door before planning on indoor storage.
The 250 Tunnel has a published draft of 15". That is static draft: how deep the hull sits at rest. The water you can run and get on plane in depends on load, trim, motor height and setup.
Underway, the tunnel lets the motor ride higher, so it runs shallower than the 250 Bay, with a 12" hydraulic jack plate standard to raise the outboard further.
15° at the transom. Deadrise is the angle of the hull bottom: the more of it, the softer the ride in a head sea; the less, the shallower the boat floats and the steadier it sits at rest.
Across the Sea Pro lineup, deadrise runs from 15° on the 172 Bay to 24.5° on the 322R Offshore.
The 250 Tunnel has a passenger capacity of 10. Count everyone aboard, children included, and remember that the outboard, fuel and gear all add to the load.
70 gallons of fuel.
Range depends on the engine, speed, load and sea state; the engine makers’ performance bulletins under Choose Your Power list speed and fuel burn through the rpm range. Plan by the rule of thirds: a third of your fuel out, a third back, and a third in reserve.

Seakeeper Ride is a vessel attitude control system that replaces traditional trim tabs and, according to Seakeeper, eliminates up to 70% of pitch and roll underway, for a flatter, drier ride. The R in a Sea Pro model name means Ride-equipped. More on the R.
